Running over the Berkeley East Shore Pedestrian Bridge - It will be OK
As I ran over the Berkeley Pedestrian Bridge this evening, there was a huge banner hanging over the side that said "It will be OK". I was instantly comforted by those healing words...it will be ok. I used it as my mantra to finish my run down to the Berkeley Marina and back. I could see other runners, walkers, bikers & scooterers (if that's even a word!) take a pause to reflect upon the sign, a couple of cars honked as they went under the bridge. I could tell we were all breathing one collective sigh of relief (but not on each other & of course, 6 feet apart) that yes, it will all be okay.
I didn't get a picture of the sign, so you'll have to run/walk/bike to the bridge to see it yourself!
