It is great...once we got it on...
Had this recommended to us from some friends but probably should have done detailed homework on how it works with my specific bike. Since we wanted this on a mountain bike we realized that we also needed to buy the MTB adapter. That adapter has its own requirements like making sure it has spacers to...

Solidly okay - no room for knees
I've used this a couple times with our 10 month old, he loves it, it's secure, I feel that he's safe and it allows us to get out and ride on dirt (mostly fireroads). My issues are 1. there is no space for my knees (I'm on a full suspension mountain bike) and there doesn't seem to be a way to corre...

Terrible product with even worse support
Product will not attach to front mount. GOt to mount once and figured it was fine. Took out for the beginning of this year and the seat will not attach the to mounting bracket. Support was next to useless and refuses to issue a refund since the product was order over 30 days ago, but the product is clearly defective. Avoid this company like the plague.
The PERFECT bike seat for a child!
I bought this seat after much research for my very first grandson. The seat fits his body perfectly. It goes on and off the bike in under 10 seconds. It gives the parents added security of having their arms wrapped around the baby. The harness is childproof, and almost adult proof. My grandson smiled immediately upon being placed in the seat. Having the option of buying a second mounting kit made it easy to switch between my son and daughter-in-law's bike. I don't believe they had these when my son was a baby. Having a baby in front is definitely a perk and a great safety feature. My son and his family loved their Christmas present this year and I did too.

Solidly okay - no room for knees
I've used this a couple times with our 10 month old, he loves it, it's secure, I feel that he's safe and it allows us to get out and ride on dirt (mostly fireroads). My issues are 1. there is no space for my knees (I'm on a full suspension mountain bike) and there doesn't seem to be a way to correct for this, its just the design of the seat and bike geometry. I can still ride, but have to have my knees out wide, after a couple miles, they hurt, long term there's potential to really jack with your knees. 2. You do lose A LOT of turning radius up front. We aren't riding singletrack with the offspring yet so it's not a huge deal, but it's very restrictive. Because of these, I've honestly considered just riding with bebe in a backpack instead and/or waiting until he's older for a cockpit style seat.
Excellent Seat
Bought Oct 2023. Used several times. Works fantastic. You keep the child in front of you between your arms. 10 month old of 22lbs and 31" loves it. Padding on handhold is not very durable—a teether chewed through quickly. We mounted a toy there for him. It does slightly limit your steering mobility; but that is fine because you aren't making aggressive turns with the child. It is much better for an infant than a rear seat….he doesn't feel alone and you have full control and visibility. Very fast shipping.
Poor design does not fit most bikes
Pretty useless when you have to go shopping for a bike to fit the seat. Was able to attach the adapter, but it puts the seat at a 45 degree angle...so the kid is basically laying down and you can't ride the bike. Unable to use with a mountain bike. Thule will respond saying it's for "cruiser" bikes...which basically refers to outdated stem/headset designs. Don't waste your time/money unless you're confident it'll fit.
Easier than anticipated
Awesome product. Easy to connect to my trek bike, and most of all it's a breeze. My daughter is almost 1 and I don't have any problem maneuvering the bike w/ her in it and she absolutely loves the wind in her face.
LOVE This little seat
I've got a large Salsa Timberjack, after measuring the stem was PRAYING that his beautiful little seat would fit my bike, low and behold IT DOES. Let me just check off the other questions/fears I had before purchasing: Will I need to adjust my knees around the seat while pedalling? - I'm 6'0" (183cm) tall, NO issues with my knees. Will the stems from HER handlebars conflict with the front fork of my bike? - NO, but juuuuust barely. Will my daughter (14mo at time time of posting) love this thing? - She absolutely loves it I'm overjoyed that my bike was able to accommodate the seat. I will say, a bike with a more upright riding position would be ideal for this seat, w/ the Timberjack I do need to sort of hunch my chest to accommodate my daughters helmet, but it's not so uncomfortable that I don't want to ride, and we're only out for 30-60min at a time, doing local paved/crusher fine gravel trails. For any casual ride, I don't think you can beat this seat.
Best bike seat for trails
Awesome product, easy to use, kiddo loves it. Rides great, even on moderate blue trails.
Wanted it to work so badly!
I've been using the Yepp mini with our child unsuccessfully with 2 different bikes. The seat leaves almost no space to dismount from the bike and stand astride the frame. So it's ok if you're on a path or a place where you don't need to stop or pause for cars / stoplights. But as a commuter seat its unmanageable for our family. Our 1 year old does love being up front and it's great talking to him about what we see on rides. But there's no way for us to ride safely. We've tried with a MTB, and a single speed steel frame MASI, but both left so much to be desired. Only buy if you have a step through frame.
Family Fun!
Just took our first ride today with the yepp mini. My 20 month old LOVES IT. Couldn't wipe the grin off his face the entire ride. He is secure and comfortable and although my husbands long legs have to spread a bit to accommodate the seat we would both recommend it.
