This is a cute hat with a decent sized brim to protect faces from the sun, but not so big that it cuts out their peripheral vision. Very light weight and breathable.

We love this hat. It is perfect for my 5 year old son. We got him a medium based on the size chart and it fits perfect. It is lightweight and seems breathable. I like the quick release chinstrap, my son only needs to tug on that one side and it comes off because using the toggle is sometimes hard for kids.
