Great jacket
This is perfect for my son-11yo. I love that he only has to keep track of 1 coat and we can make use of it all year across all climates. He loves the fit and the thinness of this coat. It keeps him very warm without being bulky.

We live in NYC where winter can feel like in the teens. I am impressed by how warm yet compact this jacket feels. It keeps my child warm outdoors during school recess without needing another layer. Wind- and water-proof are good features to have.
Worth it

We own the triclimate for all three of our boys. I've even purchased for cousins in the past. We would love to continue purchasing this style for its versatility and color selection. Unfortunately they stopped making the inner jacket with pockets. Which is a deal breaker for our family. The children wear the inner coat the most throughout spring and fall, in the Midwest. Those pockets are essential for cold hands, bringing cars and rocks along, holding tissue for runny noses, gloves when bare hands are needed. This coat WAS really perfect. I'll keep checking each season until then we settle for the other guys (their pattens are less versatile vs solid colors). If this is not a big deal for you then it's a great coat but if you can relate I encourage you to advocate for the return of pockets on the inner jacket. Having those pockets really does take it from maybe this will do to spectacular.
Great for kids!

Love that this comes with the insulated insert jacket. My kid is so much warmer in this.
deceitful picture .no pants
Comments about Boys’ & Girls’ Freedom Triclimate®
Instead of writing jacket it says trick mate and then you receive just the jacket. No pants. And then when you go back to buy the marching pants they're not available. So no suit, contrary to the picture
I would buy this product again

Daughter loves it!
Comments about Boys’ & Girls’ Freedom Triclimate®
We've only skied in it a few times but my 8yr old daughter loves it, sized up to a 10 so she could keep growing, and it has enough room for another puffer on cold days, helmet compatible hood is key for wet days and chair rides when snowmaking is going full blast- We will see how it lasts with a season under it, but so far it's been great
