The ultra-cushioned game-changer. One of the hardest working shoes in the HOKA lineup, the Bondi 9 delivers peak plushness for everyday miles. Overhauled from top to bottom, they’ve increased the stack height and added a new premium foam midsole to deliver that soft, resilient ride that’s become synonymous with the Bondi. 2nd HOKA product! UPGRADED and THRILLED!
I had a pair of the Clifton 8 walking shoes that I had worn the cushion out of after over two years of hard abuse. They had been recommended to me by my podiatrist, who sweated by them, and wore them himself., Dr. O'Carroll, who I saw in the his Santa Maria, CA office. I then saw many other healthca...

Missing the Bondi 8
I have about several pairs of Bondi 8. The Bondi 8 was the only shoe I could wear for 1+ year due to insertional tendinitis. I raved about the Bondi 8 to anyone who would listen. Fortunately, I "stocked up" on the Bondi 8 because I quickly returned the Bondi 9s. I am grateful that Hoka has a gene...

Why do these run narrow?
I ended up having to purchase a WIDE in this Bondi shoe. Why???? I am a true B in width and maybe even a little narrower. I have NEVER ever worn WIDE my entire life. I could not believe I had to send these back for an exchange. They pinched my pinky toe with normal socks on. Socks off was fine, but I do wear socks HOKA. Ordering the wide, the width is fine, but the top of the toe area and the heel have a bit too much room. So, the toe wrinkles on top and I can get the heel tight with the proper lacing. I love the Bondi, but I feel I am doing backflips to make them fit properly, which in the end, they do not fit perfectly but good enough. I do not have the width problem with any other HOKA shoes
Wanted To Love
I bought these for work in retail. But upon arrival they were too narrow. I have a bunion and it was not a good fit for me. I returned.
Best ever pair of HOKA I've ever have. This is my 6th so far.
I've been using it in the gym and it's very comfy.
Would buy Bondi 9 again
Although I have 2 pairs of Bondi 8s, I dislike the design because they are attractively wide. The Bondi 9s are narrower and much better looking. Also love the height. I am very happy with my purchase.
Nothing like my Bondi 8s
I bought these to replace my bondi 8s that I've worn daily to work in. I'm a bather at a dog groomer so I'm on my feet all day on a wet concrete floor. My 8s are far from worn completely out but I was ready for new ones. I was SO disappointed when I tried the 9s on. They fit nothing like my 8s. They're really narrow (and I don't have a wide foot) and very stiff. I originally ordered a size 8 in my bondi8s and they were too big so I ended up needing a 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 in these thinking they'd be the same. They're definitely not. The 7.5 had my toe hitting the very end so I compared these to my bondi8s and you could see a big difference in length and width. I'm so disappointed because I was looking forward to having the black and white since you can't find that color scheme in the bondi8s now.
Best fit
Bondis fit my narrow feet best .. wish better color combos available as you do got sky flow and others .
Painful to wear
Perhaps it is my foot shape but this is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. Due to the cost I have persisted. But time and wear have not helped. One seems larger than the other. Both have caused calluses. Foot doesn't seem to "sit" properly in shoe. Dreadful disappointment.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
There shouldn't be any difference between your pair, and we get how frustrating this would be. It sounds like something may not be quite right and recommend sending in your pair to be evaluated. All our styles are covered by our one-year warranty for any material or manufacturing defects that may arise. Great comfort and responsive
These are the perfect balance of cushion and spring. Sadly they don't work for me, too tight across the top of teach foot my, just in front of my toes. I do have a bunion on one foot so that may be part of it. However, I don't have this issue with my Skyflows.
