These shoes are awesome for travel and unexpected rain!

I bought these shoes for travel to Europe during raining season along the Finland and Norway Coasts. I was going to be doing a lot of walking and weather forecast showed possible rain almost every day... but thankfully we had minimal rain on our outings; but when it did rain these shoes were fabulo...

Would love to love it but just doesn't feel right

I have been on the market in search of a waterproof pair of shoes. I love my Hoka Transport and I got it at size 8 women, my usual size. So when Hoka made a Transport GTX waterproof, it was a no brainer. However, my first order was a size 8, just like my Transport. It was too tight in the toebox are...

NOT a wide width shoe

I love my bondis and cliftons but needed a more waterproof shoe for hiking. I was so disappointed at how narrow these were, despite ordering them in wide. They were almost an inch narrower than my cliftons. So disappointed to have to send these back!

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Great news. You can gain extra wiggle room by using our sizing chart to convert your size into the men's Transport GTX. That way, you never need to compromise on comfort. Additionally, there's no shortage of GTX models on our site. If you’d prefer to stick with women’s models, the Kaha 3 GTX is a powerhouse on the trails, offering both the space and support you need to take on any terrain.

Squeaky shoes

I love the transport shoes. I travel a lot and these great for walking in airports and for work. I have purchased four pairs of Transports over a couple of years and the last two I purchased squeak a lot when I'm walking. So much so that my co-works, TSA agents and random strangers have commented on my squeaky shoes. Hoka's are not cheap and I feel like these need some work. It's unfortunate that I may have to find something else because of this issue.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

No need to feel stuck with unwanted bells and whistles on your feet. To silence the squeak, try sprinkling a little cornstarch or baby powder inside to absorb excess moisture. If that doesn’t do the trick, let us take a look under our warranty review: bit.ly/HOKAWty, as this could indicate an air bubble may have formed during production, and we will need to evaluate them to help provide a quieter entrance.

not the best choice for my first pair of hokas

These shoes are not comfortable at all, after a while in them my feet begin to hurt. Not to mention the squeaking they've developed hardly after using them. Definitely dont recommend.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Typically, when shoes squeak it is a sign there might be moisture trapped between the insole and the footbed. A simple fix can be done with baby powder or corn starch. Simply shake a bit of baby powder on the inner sole. If the issue persists it could have been that an air bubble formed during production. If this is the case, we would recommend sending them in to be evaluated through our one-year warranty that covers manufacturing and material defects. Listed as wide but the toe box was too narrow. Not truly a wide shoe.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Your comfort is one of our top priorities, and it seems this pair didn’t have enough room in the toe box for you. Please don’t lose hope as we are positive, we have a HOKA for everyone. Our men’s sizing is made wider and larger than the women’s, and this could be the extra room your toes need. Feel free to send them back for a simple exchange by clicking here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT and let’s get you into a pair that will feel amazing.

Definitely for a more narrow foot and aren't the typical "walking on air" feeling of usual Hoka shoes but these are absolutely perfect for healthcare work-comfortable and splash resistant!

I have been wearing the Bondi for 3 years. I loved this shoe, but hated how quickly the soul and midsole would wear out. I moved into the Transport and almost a year later I am happily still wearing the same shoe! The midsole and sole are in great shape!
