Their shortest short is perfect for riding in a hot studio or on a midsummer day, and they’ve updated the fabric for a softer feel and less sheen than traditional bike shorts. The wide waistband is cut high in back for coverage and the front is designed for less restriction and increased comfort. It includes a comfortable and highly breathable Women’s Select Escape 1:1 chamois.

A cycling staple, I have many pairs of these shorts that I use for both indoor and outdoor cycling. Great quality. Good fit. I highly recommend anything made by Pearl Izumi!

Love that I have shorts that don't go all the way to my knees. I was looking for a pair of shorter, padded spandex and these deliver. I can easily wear these underneath another longer layer of spandex for colder weather. I sized up, per previous reviews (from small to medium) and enjoy the extra space—I was able to stash some snacks for a longer ride underneath the back waistband easily.

Sized up one size based on other reviews and I think sizing up 2 sizes would have been better. I normally wear a size small and I got medium - they fit but are definitely snug, a large might have been slightly more comfy. Otherwise they are very nice! I like the length- feels more stylish than typical biking shorts!

For summer I like a shorter short. This seems to fit the bill. Overall fit is comfortable. Since this is a Pearl Izumi product, I expected a better grip in the leg. When I got off the bike they started rolling up. You have to pull it down for them to stay down. I may have to look for a short with a smaller inseam.
