The grip is amazing but the material isn't good as old edition I just did 30 miler race without any water crossing or muddy terrain and is already coming apart ?

I love these shoes for slick rocks and mixed terrain. The soles are a bit stiff when I hit any road, but I don't seem to notice the stiffness at all when I'm on gravel or trail. I wear a wide shoe and I wish they wouldn't make their only wide color available PURPLE. A neutral would be nice if it's going to be limited colors.

I was a little worried my new ones would potentially not be the same just in my experience sometimes new makes or each shoe may vary ever so slightly. I love the color and when I went to break them in on a 13 mile run which probably wasn't ideal initially, they did well! The first half mile was slightly questionable with just a little twinge of pain but then felt fine after on the rest of the trail and varying terrain. These are the only shoe I have tried so far where my feet aren't killing me after several miles so I appreciate this shoe and consistent performance!!! I am pretty flat footed and have narrow feet.

I used to be in love with this model until I got my order delivered and oh my goodness! The writing on top made it awful, ugly and ughhhhh 😶 So disappointed! If you want to be creative and add something make sure the pictures showing in site match the real one! With some RED details ! Now i have to return my order because you didnt mention about writing on shoes in any picture!!!!!!

Best trail runners for slippery terrain

I reside on Catalina Island and hike and/or trail run 2-3 times per week. Terrain is steep, very hard on feet, and very "sloppy", rock slides. Grip is amazing. During winter months terrain is very muddy and slippery. Great grip in mud and sheds the mud very well. Also held up very well in Zion and Bryce through snowy, icy, and muddy trails. These are my 4th pair. Changing out every year. No break in period needed for me. Super light. Only complaint are how fast the lugs grind down even on non-paved trails. Would love reinforced lugs.
