Perfect height and cushion for "no show" socks inside boots. The cushion is just the right amount to not feel super thick, but aide where there is the most pressure when on your feet for long periods of time.

These are my absolute favorite socks. I own so many pairs. These are the only socks I wear in cold weather. I have many problems with my feet and these are so comfortable and help alleviate pain. They are warm, but don't make my feet sweat. They can be worn multiple days before washing and don't smell. I wash and hang to dry and they have lasted me a long time. They do t wear out in the heals like other wool socks. These are the best!
