GREAT looking shoe overall
I normally wear a solid size 10 in all HOKA running shoes, so I ordered this one in 10, but my toes were hitting the front. I was worried they would rub me the wrong way on hikes, so I exchanged them for a 10.5. Let me tell you I couldn't believe how fast they were exchanged! Three days later I had...

PLEASE HOKA: Make the KAHA GREAT AGAIN!
I wanted to have a black pair of the HOKA KAHA mid-hiking boot. My tan Kaha 2 hiking boot from HOKA has been hiking with me everywhere. So pleased with it. I am always hesitant to try your newer models because rarely are they better than what was great in the first place. I just received the bla...

Great look but so uncomfortable out of the box
Too short. Something is off from previous versions

You should love the look and the feel of your pair, not one or the other. We want you in a style that fits you and your collection and our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day allows you to send back any pairs that don't pass the test. After taking a look at our sizing chart bit.ly/HOKASizeChart to find the right fit, you can easily exchange your pair for another fit or style by clicking here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
If it is sized correctly
I am an avid hiker and have many pairs of HOKA shoes. Love them - I rating this "4" because the shoe itself is awesome. Their sizing is off. As I've said I have several pairs of HOKA's and always get the same size. I think it was just sized incorrectly.
Feel Great
I've had the hiking boots for several weeks and have worn them a lot due to snow and frigid temperatures here in the north. I have foot issues and started wearing Hokas many years ago on the advice of my podiatrist. I really have to be picky about my footwear. I was happy to find that the hiking boots are as comfortable as my regular Hoka shoes! They are also very warm. I ordered the same size in boots as my shoes but had to send them back and go one size up. I will be wearing these for many years to come!
Freezing feet
I recently purchased the Speedgoat 5 mids and my feet were lovely and warm while hiking in low-30s weather. I bought these boots for work, and my feet were absolutely freezing in the same temperatures and the same socks. My feet were so cold that taking a hot shower when I got home was extremely painful. These boots are comfortable, but not at all suited for cold weather.
I wish they came in wide width
I wear them for work as a city mail carrier. I walk 13 to 20 miles a day, 6 days a week. By day four they are too tight to wear anymore. But for the first 3 days they are really good. Good shock absorbing and ankle support.
I just received the black Mid-KAHA 3.0 and took it on its first hike. Not even a mile in and I couldn't wait to get those the heck up off my feet! One foot more than the other hurt so bad on the top right, the length of my foot. Something dug in no matter what I did with the laces. Once back home, I compared the sizing of the 2.0 I have, and this "newer better" 3.0. The 2.0 is noticeably a bit wider in the top and slightly longer with the bigger flare on the back. Again I loved everything about the 2.0. I just wanted to order a pair in black! I honestly don't know whether to return this and try a half size bigger or just return it all together. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE KAHA mid-3.0? I am a loyal customer, HOKA shoes/hiking boots are all I have, literally. My "church" and "formal" HOKA's are the black leather Bondi's. I have the regular BONDI, the STINSON, and the low KAHA and the Hiking Boot mid-KAHA. I have loved the CHALLENGER as well, but I find the Stinson's width in the back more stable for the trails. Wore them Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon. So I'm loyal and legit. I need to learn that when I find a model that has that classic cloud feel of my very first BONDI's -- to order multiple and keep them in the box to use as they wear out because with the exception of the Stinson model --- rarely have I loved the newer better versions. Since I'm on a constructive comment (hopefully taken that way, as that is the intent) please make all models available in plain black, tan, brown. The neon colors with the neutral in hiking doesn't work for old-timers like my 50 year old self. I will return these mid-KAHA's for a half size bigger and see if that fits better.

We hoped this style would join you on all your hiking adventures, but if the fit is off you won't get very far. Counting down the minutes until you take them off isn't what we had in mind. Hear us out, since you mentioned needing them a bit wider, we suggest trying this boot in men's sizing. They are made a bit wider and larger than the women's sizing which might do the trick. To find the size conversion, check out our sizing chart bit.ly/HOKASizeChart and then you can start your seamless exchange here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
