GREAT looking shoe overall

I normally wear a solid size 10 in all HOKA running shoes, so I ordered this one in 10, but my toes were hitting the front. I was worried they would rub me the wrong way on hikes, so I exchanged them for a 10.5. Let me tell you I couldn't believe how fast they were exchanged! Three days later I had...

PLEASE HOKA: Make the KAHA GREAT AGAIN!

I wanted to have a black pair of the HOKA KAHA mid-hiking boot. My tan Kaha 2 hiking boot from HOKA has been hiking with me everywhere. So pleased with it. I am always hesitant to try your newer models because rarely are they better than what was great in the first place. I just received the bla...

These run small - I wear an 8.5 in all my Hokas but this pair my toes are jammed in the toe box. Overall seems like a sturdier version - will exchange and try again. Size up!!!

I loved my Tor (not made anymore) boots, went through 3 pairs. Was trying to find a replacement. These are way smaller in the toeboxandno wide a ailable (didn't need wide in Tor)...disappointed.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We hear you. It sure is hard to have a favorite leave the site, but that is no reason to be disappointed at the end of the day. We appreciate you giving these a shot, and see you indicated this pair was both too narrow in the width and too small in length. A better heel-to-toe could help that toe box feel more natural. Gather measurements from our sizing chart: bit.ly/HOKASizeChart, and we would be happy to help you size up.

I LOVE this model shoe, but it does not come in a D width so I had to sent them back.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We don't want you to be a sad hiker and are hoping to get this experience moving in a positive direction. Your feet won't be too happy in a boot that's too narrow. With our sizing chart: bit.ly/HOKASizeChart, you can easily size into the men's Kaha 3 GTX, which will be wider than women's sizes. Find the correct heel-to-toe measurement and start your exchange for a better fit here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.

The worst shoes of any kind I have ever worn.

I wore the hiking boots on an initial 6 mile hike that I take on a regular basis with my dog. The next morning, my low back was so sore I could hardly get out of bed. I loosened up as the day went on enough to walk my dog and went back out to the same location. I had to turn back to the car after about a mile due to my back and I was barely mobile for the next entire week. It was clear the shoes were the problem. If it hadn't been winter, I would have taken the shoes off and gone back to my car barefoot. I lost time working since I couldn't sit at my desk for long without laying on the floor and had to pass on a ski outing because of my back pain, and I had to pay to return these awful shoes after the pleasure of wearing them.

Purchased and returned

I purchased these but found it necessary to return them. As reported by others, they were not only too narrow in the toe box, but too shallow. The tops of my toes rubbed the tops of the shoes. In addition, one of the shoes rubbed at the ankle to the degree that I felt they would become painful. I ended up purchasing the HOKA Kaya 2 GTX and I am very happy with them.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We're sad to hear your pair didn't work out for you but we're glad you were able to find comfort in our Kaha. We hope your new pair continues to provide comfort and confidence wherever life takes you.

I hike on the beach and paths in the mountains. I also use a hiking shoe for landscaping work. I own a pair of women's KAHA GTX, and they are fantastic for support and stability. They have been used well and need replacing. The KAHA 2 GTX and KAHA 3 GTX have a cramped toe box that is extremely uncomfortable as soon as they are on my feet. I have even tried a half size larger. Please widen and raise the height of the toe box. Also please offer the hiking boots is wide widths to fit orthotics.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We hear you and we appreciate your feedback after giving this style a try. Perhaps our Anacapa 2 could provide the fit and feel you need to dominate the trails. You can give them a try and see if they are your new favorite through our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day.

I got these for a long 100 mi treck in French alps. I am over 50 and have struggled with heel pain from plantar fasciitis and foot pain in general and these boots are the solution to everything. Full support and stability while being light and airy and plenty of room for my toes.
