Description
Light and plush for everyday miles. The ninth iteration of Hoka's award-winning Clifton franchise has launched, lighter and more cushioned than ever before. Eliminating weight while adding 3mm in stack height, the Clifton 9 delivers a revitalized underfoot experience with a responsive foam and improved outsole design. Removing overlays and hotmelts, the stripped back upper has been consciously crafted with a plusher heel, reflective heel panel, and streamlined tongue with single side medial gusset. These changes my life
I know that is a very bold statement "These changes my life". I am obese, have diabetes, plantar fasciitis in my right foot only, lower back pain, and arthritis in both knees. I do not run, heck I don't even walk for exercise. I researched these shoes for over a year with friends, co-workers, and c...

"If It Ain't Broke … "
I would be embarrassed to tell you how many pair of Clifton 6s, 7s, 8s I have in my closet. So, suffice to say, I am a big fan of the Clifton. I love this shoe. I trust this shoe. I love and trust this shoe for all the reasons we longtime, diehard, loyal fans of the Cliftons already know and hold de...

Clifton9
These are so comfy! The cushioning is great. The wide is great. They look great The delivery was great. My feet are very happy. No problems at all I usually wear anywhere from an 8-9 I bought the 8.5 reg and they are perfect fit. I sometimes have problems with shoes and need a wide width but the reg had plenty of room.
Love this model
I love the Clifton 9. I wear them every day and walk daily. They offer great support and stability yet are lightweight. I've never been disappointed.
My 3rd Pair
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cliftons! This is my 3rd pair. No break in time. As a Nurse, comfort is EVERYTHING! The color is beautiful!
Mixed Feelings
At first I loved the extra cushioning added since the Clifton 8 but after wearing them all day at work walking and standing, I'm not sure it's a good thing. The cushioning in the upper part of the shoe made the shoe feel too tight no matter how much I loosened the laces. And the new design seems to have a narrower toe box because my big toes were rubbing the sides of the shoes, despite the fact that I have extremely narrow feet! If they would just add the cushioning to the bottoms and leave everything else the same as the 8 it would be perfect. I love the Clifton 8.
Love Hokas, especially on sale.

Comfortable, stylish and good support.
Clifton is every color…
Well, not yet (5 so far), but that's my goal. Accurate fit - no need to size up or down. Total comfort is important especially with left foot arthritis which, truthfully, I never notice when wearing my Cliftons. They look great even with a casual dress or skirt.
Too large
I have many pairs of Hokas in my collection, all for running and walking. I have been a die hard fan of the Clifton 9 and bought my third pair recently in preparation for a 5k. I kept them tucked away for a bit, only planning on using them to break them in a bit before race day. Imagine my sadness when I put them on only to discover that they were a good 1/2 size too big. Now I have 2 OTHER pairs of clifton 9 and have not encountered this issue. I figured I would suck it up as I loved the bright yellow color and my size/width were running out and the colors available were not to my liking (I am a women's 8 wide). I wore them a few times only to end up with numb toes. I am now past the 60 day limit to return the sneakers and have decided to gift them to a friend who is an 8 1/2. I'm so sad. These sneakers are not cheap. Sizing needs to be consistent as I am now leery that the next pair may have the same issue.
