Hiking on a Landslide

These were great, comfortable, waterproof , fantastic footing hiking a landslide and glacier. No slip treads, wore them all day with comfort fit.

Great walking shoe for damp morning walks

Truly waterproof, very comfortable walking shoe. My only drawback is that there isn't enough arch support for my foot. Needed to use my own orthotics in this shoe.

Toe box way too narrow

I wish I read the reviews. I usuall have good luck with Hoka shoes. I ordered on line because it was the only way to get solid black. Very dissappointed in the fit of these hiking boots. I usually have no issues with Hoka but these were so different from right boot to left. The right boot didnt feel right and after a short hike i had a huge blister on the top of my big toe. I love the look of the boot so I am exchanging for the size 9. If I didnt have to pay to ship the return I wouldnt have even tried. Id rather have my money back. If the 9 fits the same I will have to be forced to return. Very dissapointed Hoka!!

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Comfort should always be consistent from left to right, so if one shoe feels off, a manufacturing defect may be to blame. Fortunately, all purchases made through our website are eligible for free returns and exchanges within 30 or 60 days if you're a HOKA Member. We're thrilled you could take advantage and hope the size 9 delivers the fit and feel you're searching for.

I've had for about a month now and I don't even hike in them but they are already are peeling at toe.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Peeling is certainly not something you should be experiencing with your pair. Thankfully, all of our styles are covered by our one-year warranty for manufacturing and material defects. You can send in your pair to be evaluated and you can learn more about our warranty by clicking here: bit.ly/HOKAWty.

I have a seriously hard time finding shoes I can walk in. Especially for distance trails. Well, FOUND IT! Comfortable and supportive. My feet aren't tired or in pain after I do a 5 mile walk.

Never have I needed to, 'break-in' my Hoka's, I own over ten different pairs/styles (CliftonL, Stinson7, Bondi8, SkywardX) however these,I may have to. Hoka nailed it with the METEOR / COSMIC SKY color, I absolutely LOVE IT! The sides and lower toe box are tight, they're too flat and too stiff. I'm in my '50s, I put in 13-17,000 steps daily through rough terrain, bipolar Michigan weather and standing on cement in a cramped warehouse. The shoes have great traction but what good are they if I can't wear them 3 hours into my shift without killing my feet? The round shoe laces are a no-go as well, constantly retieing them. I haven't decided if I want to keep them, I will try them with a thinner toe sock (when is Hoka going to make runner's toe socks?) then decide. If they were a little more, SkywardX plush/arch support, they'd be perfect imo. Thank you Hoka, for a great return policy, I'll keep trying. 💜

Best hiking boot ever - for me

I have been wearing this boot for two months during a Maine winter, walking in snow and on ice. My surgeon told me to only wear Hoka shoes after I broke my ankle in two places. This boot keeps my bad ankle comfy and has kept me dry except once when I walked through a really deep puddle. If you are like me and need extra cushioning, or you just want to feel good when you walk, these are awesome, for hiking or walking on a slippery sidewalk. Because it looks more like a tennis shoe and comes in nice colors it is more versatile too and I can wear it out to lunch.

All of my shoes are Hokas. I have problematic feet and I love to walk. It's the one shoe I can wear and walk miles in. I have 4 pairs. Therefore I felt confident in buying the hiking boot online. Im not at all pleased with the fit. It does not feel good to hike in. It hurts my ankles and the soles of my feet. It also is not attractive. So this one was a disappointment.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We had hoped your new pair would be the perfect addition to your rotation and we're bummed to hear they let you down. We think you should give our Kaha 3 a chance to impress with it's plush cushioning and rugged sole for the toughest trails.
