I have a wide foot. I bought what I thought were wide sneakers. At the end of the day the shoe is pretty uncomfortable for me. I found it strange that I wear Nike and Reebok in same size and never had similar issue.

Very Comfortable wish they had this with a composite toe

Great shoes for walking! I have numerous pairs of Hoka shoes but these ones are fantastic! My only wish is that they had a composite toe for light warehouse work. So many safety shoes sacrifice any cushion or comfort that it makes them tough to wear.

So was shopping for a good walking/travel shoe. One of my kids recommended this brand and I checked several others and decided on Hoka - not cheap but very well-made. I did select the standard width, which was perfect for my left foot a tiny bit tight for my right. But following advice from my wonderful wife. I wore two socks on my right foot for several days which stretched out the material - so it fits like a glove. Absolutely wonderful

These are a great replacement for my many many years old Merrell hiking boots. I went with the light grey body (forget the style/color name), which seems to go with everything I wear. Less than a month in, they are still bit difficult to "slip" into...maybe that will be a bit easier over time. But they fit well front to back, top to bottom, and feel great walking around town. Someday I will take them on the trails...

After reading reviews of various HOKA hiking shoes, I took their advice and ordered a pair of men's shoes, two sizes down from my usual women's size (M7 instead of W9). It worked great and these shoes are wide enough for my wide toes yet snug enough for comfortable long distance walking/hiking. My husband got the same style in a different color and also loves them.
