Hoka Comfort w/Pull-on Ease

Having "run through" many Hoka's over the years, I was excited to try this one. They have not disappointed! The cushiony makeup of these shoes really help to keep one comfortable, especially if you have any pain issue with your feet or knees. What was particularly attractive to the Transport, was ...

Not for me moving forward

I REALLY wanted to love the Transports. After 5 pair of Bondis, these seemed to address my two greatest complaints with Hoka shoes: sole durability, and just a bit of a cleaner style to de-emphasize wearing running shoes at work. After four wears, I'm initiating a return. The Good: In spite of bein...

To right across the top of the foot, no noticeable difference in sole cushion. Big on name short on comfort.

Who would have thought

I purchased this pair for my husband. He loves them. He is a CNC operator and is on his feet through out the day. We have tried several different brands and styles. These have completely surpassed the rest. He says he has never worn a pair of shoes that didn't make his feet achy afterwards. He wears everyday for work, doing roughly 10 hrs shifts, and he saysnthe more he wears them through out the day the less his feet hurt at night when he has to get up to use the restroom. Who would have thought that the wife got it right 😘 I would definitely recommend and have already purchased a different pair for my daughter whom does the same work as my husband but is 30 yrs younger than him. Also we bought 11 but my husband usually wears size 10 so maybe try a size up

Almost perfect

I was so excited when this shoe came out -- nearly perfectly fit what I was looking for: a travel shoe that would be my one pair of shoes on a trip and was supportive for extensive walking. I purchased the grey pair when these first came out a couple of years ago. The only issue I had with them was they got drenched when it rained. Enter the waterproof ones! Hurray! I ordered them and they are mirror-image of the regulars but were too narrow. So after trying about 5 other brands I decided to return to the regulars, which have an improve shock cord lace (seems less likely to break) and advertised as having a water resistant treatment -- time will tell. My only issue now is the color: the grey that is available in the GTX version is what I want but for some reason it isn't offered in the regular. I bought the "putty" color and they are too light. Very, very close to white -- just barely enough grey for me to keep them, but I will not buy them again unless I can get the original grey. These are almost the perfect shoe!

The right solution !

Bought the navy Transports and couldn't be happier ! After 3 months of wearing, the shoes have been great. I got these and a pair of Clifton 9's, to hopefully help get my inner left hip to feel better. Not sure if any of them would help, but go figure, I feel better. The Transports were a style and function purchase. They look great with jeans and are super comfortable. The materials are excellent and are wearing well. Love the pull tie laces, super functional. The Vibram soles are super good and handle most surfaces well, even when wet. They are a sharp style, versus my Clifton's which I lovingly call Huglys :) My Transports have held their shape and toe box well. I can't stand that worn out look in the first week of wear. Finally they are very easy to clean and keep up. I love that .. can't recommend enough ! I took a shot and they are great ! Great for travel which we do a lot. My wife says they look cool !

Not very flexible & hot

I bought this product as primarily a walking shoe. The upper is kind of a plastic material and pretty rigid at the heel. Because of this I think, it doesn't breathe much creating more heat in the feet. My feet run hot naturally, so after a while it gets uncomfortable. I own 2 other pairs of HOKA and am very satisfied with them. I should have paid more attention to the construction. My bad. They are comfortable and have a nice tread, so I may wear them when I play golf.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We don't want your feet sweating through your miles. While the Transport features a durable Cordura® abrasion-resistant upper, you might find more breathability in our Project Transport. And remember, there's no need to stick with a model that didn't tick all your boxes. Take advantage of our Fly-For-30 guarantee: bit.ly/HOKA30Day, and we would be happy to make the switch.

Love the shoes but the squeaking!

I always praise the Hoka brand but my bondi's my Tranports's all developed a loud squeak that drives me nuts! I keep having to swap shoes on show sites and it's disappointing because I really do love them. I'd like resolution and a few pairs of transports that don't squeak because I've spent a fortune and recommend them to everyone over the years.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We never like to hear about material issues on our styles which is why we offer a one-year warranty that covers any material or manufacturing defects. A bit of cornstarch or baby powder sprinkled into the insole often resolves squeaking issues. If this doesn't help resolve the squeaking, we recommend sending them in with your original proof of purchase for an evaluation by our team. Head over to our site bit.ly/HOKAWty to learn more about our warranty and how to take advantage on your end.

Shoe separated from the bottoms

I really liked this shoe at first. But after just a few weeks of wearing, the shoe started to completely separate from the bottom. For the price, I expected much better durability. I don't like wasting money on something that doesn't last, especially when it's supposed to be a premium shoe. Will be returning these and trying the Clifton 9s instead—hopefully they can hold up and will not be another disappointment.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

We want to not only meet but exceed your expectations and agree this pair should've held up for more than a few weeks. Thank you for giving this style a spin. Upon looking into your order, we do see that the new pair is awaiting shipping, and you should be receiving an update with the tracking information soon. We've got you covered on the exchanged pair as well with our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day.
