Best as a glove liner
Consider going down a size. According to the size chart, I'm a small, but there's a good 0.5-1cm at the end of the fingertips in that size. I ordered an XS this time, and they fit great, not overstretched. It is best used as a glove liner. Construction is good, but it won't hold up to wear and tea...

Extremely comfortable gloves that won't last the season
My first impression is that these gloves feel extremely comfortable. The finger tips with touchscreen compatibility somehow are shaped really oddly and only fit well around my thumb and index finger when I pull the glove tight over my hand. Shortly after the tip slides off of my finger, which made i...

Sizing does NOT match the sizing guide and fits oddly
I measured my hand using the sizing guidelines. My had measured at approximately 7.75" from base to the top of my middle finger. This indicated I was between Small and medium. Most reviews noted that the gloves ran large and fingers were too large. This is not the case. The Medium is too small. The fingers are not long enough and the distance from the pointer finger to the thumb is long long enough creating a web between them. Where the material is comfortable and I have doubt these would make a great liner or walking glove the sizing is completely off. In addition the top of the finger has stitching which is an uncomfortable buildup of material. Poor shape and build quality. Very disappointing.
I have three pairs
I wear them on their own and as a layer on colder days. They are slightly thicker than the Merino gloves and so should last longer. I've had no holes in them so far this season. Shipping was fast.
Great layering glove
These are great for layering under my mittens or alone as a light layer. I like the long shaft so they stay put under /over my base layer.
Great layering glove
Perfect under layer for my mittens or lightweight layer on their own!
Perfect for spring skiing
Over the years, I seem to add a piece of Smartwool to my ski bag each year - and I'm always pleased. These glove liners are perfect alone for skiing in 20+ degree weather. And great for the commute home as well.
Light and Breathable
This is a great glove for the shoulder seasons when temps aren't too cold, or used as a liner when they are. They regulate my body temp best at 30-40 degrees. I am very happy with this purchase.
Poor fit for long hands
I have long but somewhat slim hands. I measured my hands, read the size chart and bought the Large based on my length which was the largest measurement, this resulted in me having baggy gloves. Not only that, but the thumb placement was still about an inch too high (or the palm too short) to be comfortable. I bought these to keep my hands warm while typing, but they're too baggy for precision and the wool is too thin to keep my fingers warm.

Love but wear out in a single season
I love these gloves as they protect my hands from the drying and cracking I experience in synthetic mitts and gloves. I wear them every time I'm outside in winter (ski touring, nordic skiing, teaching snow science), often under another outer mitt / glove. The main con of this product is that they wear out (tears and holes in high touch zones like finder pads and palms) within a single season of mild use.
Merino wool thin liner gloves
I use this product skiing, as a liner inside my mittens. Perfect thinness, feels great, warm and does not bunch up.
Merino thin liner gloves.
I use these gloves inside my ski mittens as a liner, but also, when I take my mittens off my hands still protected and stays warm, have ability to take pictures, and have better precision in doing stuff with my fingers.
