Description

Stoppers are easy to place, the color coding is awesome, and the set of 4-13 gives a pretty solid range. Classic pro and the foundation of a good rack.

Not a real carabiner!?
It was a sad day to see new stoppers come in the mail and to find out that carabiner that they come with is not even load bearing. If your not going to send a real carabiner that can be used in climbing, don't send one at all.

Stoppers perform great, only improvement would be if they were flared out a tiny bit more for sideways placements. The included non load-bearing carabiner was a little disappointing...

This is THE standard set of nuts. Building a new trad rack? This set 4-13 is probably what you want. There are some other nuts out there that may be better at some things(and pricier), but this is the set they're compared to. Also this one comes with a carabiner! yeah!!

These are great stoppers, take a look around and you will see them on most trad racks. I would also recommend buying a number 3 it is rated for lead falls and it has been very helpful to have in the Northeast.

These things look awesome to say the least. The color coding scheme is awesome and handy. They fit in multiple different directions and can be very solid placements. I know that I can trust them if things don't go according to plan as well. I always have a set or two on me even if I am on a normal Alpine route.
The gold standard for nuts

The black diamond nuts are pretty much the standard for nuts out there, there's nothing particularly exciting about them, but they do what they're supposed to do and they do it well. This 5-11 set gives you the most used sizes as smaller than the 5 and you are more into the micro nut territory where there are better options, and bigger than the 11 and the nuts are just heavy and I'll generally always plug a cam. If you're looking for a great starter set of nuts, this is the one!

I replaced my 20 yr old BD stoppers with a new set. The old ones were looking pretty beat up but I still trusted them despite years of hard use. So, when I decided to replace them, getting BD again was a no-brainer. Solid, well made and reliable. The annodization is a nice touch, makes it easier to pick the right size quickly.
