A Handheld I Actually Use
I am really liking this handheld! I love how it hangs from your hand instead of having to grip it, my hand doesn't get tired while holding it using the thumb loop strap. Also as a person with smaller hands, I appreciate how adjustable the strap is. I have to cinch my strap down a bit to make it fit and it stays securely in place for miles. I usually use this handheld on trail runs and longer road runs but recently I tried using it at local 50K trail race instead of running with my regular hydration vest - filling it at each aid station. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was to hold for over 30 miles on trail!
Jury is still out
I like the concept of the easy to fill bottle. My previous bottle didn't have that option. However, the cap on the bottle is not easy to operate. I'm going to issue a complaint to the company. I can't imagine struggling to refill this bottle mid race! The flip up top doesn't flip very easily. I understand you don't want the cap coming lose, but right now it's easier to unscrew the cap than it is to flip it open.
Great strap improvement but issue with lid
Great improvement with the new strap for ease of holding during a run but the quick fill lid is incredibly tight and difficult to open making it more of a burden then a helpful feature. If the lid was fixed this would be a perfect little handheld for my runs.
Great idea, bad execution
The cap is near impossible to close via the flip open/close method. I can't close it without emptying the water bottle and squeezing from both sides (on top and underneath) and even then it's hard to close. The point of getting this was for the easy refill when I'm running a race but it just doesn't work.
