I rented this for my trip to Alaska and it nicely kept my feet warm in some of the coldest weather I have seen. To be honest the toes did feel cold after hrs of being outside in -15F but so did others. I think it did an exceptional job for the reason you don't have to shell out a lot from your pocket for once in a life trip to such cold place. Overall, I will recommend it to anyone thinking of renting it for a short trip.
