I can't wait to get this bag in the cold. My only complaint at this point is I would have liked the zippers to go down lower. To get out of the bag you have to slide up to get your knees out. Also if you are overheating, you can't poke your legs out.

I used this bag for a 10 day through-hike and chose it for the temperature rating, weight, price and compressability. Throughout the trip the temperatures ranged overnight from +1⁰C to -9⁰C(the bags tested limit). I found that if i was a bit too warm I could easily undo one or both of the 2x 2-way zippers allowing more body heat to escape, while on the coldest nights I was more than warm enough with the bag and my silk liner. I personally found that this bag would likely be sufficient for me down to the -15⁰C mark. I will note that along with my silk liner I was uning a good R4.6 self-inflating sleeping pad and a 'just in case' R2.0 closed cell foam pad. The weight of the bag was perfect and it compressed down into my 8L dry compression sack with the silk liner, allowing me to easily store it in the bottom compartment of my pack for easy access at the end of each day while ensuring it stayed dry. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone, the dual zippers on each side, while adding some weight, were a huge benefit for access and temerature regulation.

This is a great sleeping bag. I have used it on two backpacking trips so far. The first night it was around 40° I was plenty warm. The second trip I spent four nights using this bag. The temps were in the low fifties, the ability two be able to unzip both sides was perfect and I did not overheat. Marmot went above and beyond in customer service. I originally ordered the smaller bag by accident they gave me a RMA immediately and sent me a new large bag and shipped it before they even received the first bag at no extra cost! I have owned a number of Marmot gear over the years but this just sealed the deal for me. High quality, excellent service, and fair prices. Hard to go Wrong.

I just purchased this bag as a gift for my teenage son, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. However, I already own an older version of the bag for myself and an older version of the women's teton 15* (the women's equivalent of the men's sawtooth 15*). Owning and using these two bags is the reason I chose to come back to Marmot to purchase the bag for my son. We LOVE them and have used them in a variety of conditions ranging from middle of summer to middle of winter and the bags never fail to perform!!! Comfy, durable, light, and aesthetically top notch! The new "vintage" or "retro" colorways are pretty kickass too! If you're in the market for a new bag for yourself or someone you know, I highly recommend the men's sawtooth and the women's teton; both are fantastic bags at an excellent price point!!!!
