I love this boot, responds right away and with wider feet, it fits like a glove.
Snug fit
This boot felt really tight on the top part of my foot in the first couple of days. Loosened the buckles and it helped. High Volume for high instep made for a good fit and feet do not move around at all. Snug fit and feel like the energy transfer is direct to the ski.

I bought these at the start of this season. Great fit around the foot. But the design of the top boot where the power strap is mounted, has drawn blood on my calves, both trips this year. On almost every other boots the strap is mounted on the back of the boot. But on this one Salomon has made "a Cut" in the boot 1/4 of the way to the front. And this feature gnaws away on our calves until it bleeds

I bought these boots in 2019 They are uncomfortable. After 4 years ( 2 years without use) one of the liners distorted The boots are now unworkable after only 2 years effective use.Salomon's approach is to say they are not covered by warranty and offer no assistance in purchasing a replacement. A poor company with a poor ethos and even poorer product.
Tight fit but otherwise brilliant

I have a VERY high insole, and was recommended this one over my Atomics. The fit was very tight, despite having ample room lengthwise (the very last notch on all buckles is used), and it just didn't work. In the end I had to simply bin the inner shoe, and used the old one from Atomic (a whole size bigger). That dramatically improved the situation, and tested over two weeks. The control is much sharper for sure, and certainly comfortable enough to forget about them.

For the first time in my life I have a boot that offers excellent control and supreme comfort without compromise. My feet are rather wide and it's been so hard to find high performance boots that don't crush the life out of my chunky feet. My local ski shop custom molded them and now when I'm flying down the mountains my feet feel like they're being cradled by snuggly soft kittens. These really are the best of both worlds.
