Pluses and Minuses for the Ride 17
Compared to the Ride 15 & 16 I found the shoe has been blown out too much. The heal cup doesn't grip the heal as well. The instep & for foot are a little to loose. In shorter and longer runs (30k +) the Ride 17 is still a good workhorse shoe.
Tongue issues
The tongue is so short that it's a challenge to slip them on, to top that off it also doesn't have any link to the laces.

Tongue is inadequate
I have been wearing the Saucony Ride for many years. This version has one troublesome issue. The tongue is too short and is too thin at the end. When I tighten my laces they are very uncomfortable against my skin.
Smooth run
My best pair of saucony to date. So confortable. No more hip pain on long run.
Comfortable
Much better than the 16! Didn't think I would like , the non-Saucony logo, on the inside-but it's fine.
Heavenly Feet!
Great fit and design. Amazing colours and very lightweight running shoes that are great for walking and fit my wide orthotics. The Tide/Silver Ali's a wonderful colour combination that I even wear with my sport coat and dress pants at conferences to keep my feet and legs healthy and strong. Thank you Saucony!!!

Disappointed 😞
I've bought quite a few pairs of Saucony shoes for my running. I bought these ones that were supposed to help with heel pain. They didn't. The shoes themselves were not real comfortable and for some reason tend to catch onto things from the side of the shoes. I have always had good luck with the Saucony brand but this time disappointed me.
The best running shoe I own.
I work for Saucony and the company was kind enough to send some free pairs out to team members to try out and I have got to say, these shoes are some of the best I have worn. Super soft, comfy, supportive, and I like the design and colour better than recent styles. I also own a pair of the Endorphin Shift 3 and these (surprisingly) are much more enjoyable to use than those and I love my endorphins as well. Due to weather in Canada right now I have only used them on the treadmill but I am very happy with them and I am excited to get them outside come spring.
