Warm and comfortable for side sleepers
This is one of the most popular pads on the market, so reviews and YouTube videos are plentiful. I won't belabor the review here except to say that I agree with most of what those reviews say: (1) it's comfortable and I sleep well on this pad, (2) it's warm and I've had it out in cool weather (low...

Feels narrow and BA has a no refund policy on sleeping mats
I bought this because of good reviews and recommendations of BA from friends in the outdoor industry. Overall, I was disappointed, partly because of the product, partly BA's return policy. Whilst the mat was thick, it felt very narrow to me. Perhaps because it is so thick, the side baffles are r...

Perfectly supportive
We brought this pad snow camping with us in Mammoth Lakes last weekend and holy moly, the comfiest sleeping bad I've ever laid on. It was like sleeping on a cloud of comfort! We even tested its durability by hiking up a snowy hill and sliding down, this thing is bomber! New fav sleeping pad.

I would buy again.

Fast to blow up and cozy to sleep on.
Upgrading from Divide via warranty
Comments about 25" x 72"
I added the difference to a credit I got from a warranty issue with the Divides insulation falling apart inside the pad. Big Agnes was great in the warranty process. They got back to me with in a day of sending the initial email. By the next day they issued me a credit for full value of the divide. Which I used to buy the Rapide SL. Which worked out great because after 2yrs with the divide serving me well, I was ready for something a little lighter and smaller. In less than a week I had the Rapide. I won't use it in the backcountry until May but I blew it up and it seams like it will be more comfortable than the Rapide aswell as being lighter. Iv read some reviews about the Rapide insulation also becoming detached inside the pad and falling to the bottom of the pad. Probably happens to some due to repeated inflating and deflating and rolling up and unrolling over and over. But I'm not overly worried about it since the warranty process was so good.

Another great product from Big Agnes. I ordered this as a replacement and can't be more happy with the customer service and pack size and comfort of the new sleeping pad. Complements my other pad and packs down smaller.

The new student pad is extremely comfortable and packs down to small while being reasonably lightweight. It is winter right now. I haven't taken a backpacking, but I've used it in my rooftop tent and the sleeping pad has excellent insulating properties.
Easy inflation thanks to physics, great for big shoulders!

Big Agnes is awesome. My old entry level ultralight ground mattress had a lifetime warranty (who knew?!), so I applied the cost and upgraded to this mattress and it is equally awesome. First off, my old mattress had to be blown up by mouth, (specifically 24 big breaths), but this one has the inflator that works off Bernoulli's Principle, so you blow into the bag with a quick breath, the bag fills up with lots of air, then you use the inflator like a pastry bag. It's so nice not to hyperventilate before bed. The raised edges keep my broad shoulders on the mattress. Its so worth the increased cost over their entry level ultralights. You will not be disappointed. Now off to Philmont!
