Severe Allergic Reaction

Bought this after using the spray and hydrating spf but this one must have some serious allergens in it! Maybe the plant derivatives? Husband swelled up like a blow fish with hives all over face and neck! One round of heavy steroids and a few uncomfortable days. He used the sunscreen again on ears and neck and again hives and swelling and another round of steroids! Awful!

I started to get red, I thought it was a sunburn so I applied more sunscreen. After 3 different occasion, I realized that I am allergic to this sunscreen. Full body hives and rash breakout.

This is pretty good if you're pale like me :) definitely leaves a white cast and my skin does not like mineral based products (not as moisturizing for me) but my favorite Coola moisturizing sunscreen lotion has been 'œupgraded 'œ (AKA ruined) now that they added nasty chemicals to it '¦ so the perfect sunscreen search starts again! I'll keep checking back'¦ hoping for a real 'œupgraded' formula'¦

SPF 50 has an EWG rating of 3. A little bit goes a long way, it is visible when applied. A reliable product, easy to apply, on the thicker side of sunscreen, but is smooth and not pasty. After 3. 5 hours, outdoors in SoCal, no visible evidence of sun 🙌:skin-tone-2:
