Even is probably considered a lightweight down hoody is built for year-round use as an all-mountain Jacket/layer. a great feature is the low bulk and easy to layer, or stash in a pack. it's built with micro baffles around the body and shoulders, with smaller nano baffles under the arms for better breathability without compromising warmth. Filled with down and finished with a Pertex® Quantum outer, it's lightweight, breathable, warm, windproof and waterproof. It is definitely durable and versatile, and I will personally use it as a mountaineering tool to stand on its own or as a layer under a shell jacket.
