Strong Smoked Flavor
This is the first package of Mountain House we didn't like the taste of. It had a strong smoked flavor to it. We opened another pack and it was the same. I threw the remaining five packs into the trash. We can't recommend this one.

I have been buying samples from several different brands and this is the best stuff I have tried. I ended up ordering several #10 cans and will buy lots more. I wish they had more staple items. I definitely recommend Mountain House if you want the best tasting food.

I love the convenience of the pouch meals; I don't love the added sugar and sodium. How about less sodium or 'salt to taste' ... and I never put sugar in my eggs when I cook at home. That's the only reason I don't eat these on a regular basis. Hope this is helpful.

I have purchased Mountain House in the past and never been disappointed with this purchase not being an exception to that outcome.
