Pretty Decent Trainer
I switched to the Kawana from the Bondi 8 because the B8's are just horrible. It's a terrible "upgrade" from any of the previous Bondis. It's just a big, heavy, and now clunky shoe. The Kawana has just as much cushion if not more, definitely lighter, and much more responsive. I have a feeling th...

Not so great so far
I have worn these shoes a total three times for long walks. I planned to use them as my primary walking shoe. My thought was that if they did well while walking, I would consider another pair for running. During the initial walk I felt an irritating rub under my first and second toes - like what ...

Again being an athlete still at 67 with all the foot injuries I have had this shoe is a must. Working on my feet all day at a hospital as Electrician I put in 15,000 steps a day plus gym time and have used as my golf and bowling shoes. Comfort first in my world. And yes Bowling as long as I wear only as bowling shoes it is legal. Have 8 pairs around one for mowing lawn and yard work. Have had nurses and doctors ask about them for 8 years I've wore at work, now I see them all over hospital.
Soooo comfort
This is a real review. I'm a HOKA maniac!!!!! I have atleast 6 pairs. These are my latest purchase and I love them!!! I wear them every day. Light weight and soft. Now I know why nurses wear them so much.
Nice Shoe, Styles Change Too Fast
This is another example of a nice style, but it won't be around. The constant changing and unavailing to get a preferred style for more than a season, or so, will drive me away from this brand. Just as I had to find a new runner after Pearl Izumi quit making running shoes, I will find another brand again.
Very nice comfortable shoe but white...had to return
Rugged walking distances...need a more rugged shoe return for the Carbon X3...
These are the best overall (better than Kawana 2s)
I've tried many many training shoes, and that Kawana 1's have been the best overall shoe for me (tried Nike's, UA, Skechers, Adidas, etc..) I've used these for all around hybrid fitness: running, HIIT, gym/lifting, sprinting, plyos, walking. The Kawana 1s have actually been more comfortable than the Kawana 2s and I'm sad to see that HOKA might be sunsetting them. Actually curious to know if HOKA will be discontinuing the Kawana 1s moving forward, because I truly hope these can stay in stock in the future!
Should have gotten a size larger
The tongue of the shoe is short and attached to the bottom of the shoe so it is hard to get my feet in.
Love my new Hokas
These are very comfortable and support my feet well. I can't decide which I like best; I have Arahi, Kahana, Transport, and Clifton styles in various colors. I love them all. They fit better than other shoes and make my knees and back hurt less, so I win with any of them. Pair 15 coming up.
