WIDE FEET PEOPLE—THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!
I own five pairs of Hoka shoes, so you could say I'm a fan! My first pair wasn't in their wide fit, and my toes were jammed up—ouch. Loved the shoe, but I needed more space. Then I discovered the wide Clifton 9, and let me tell you, game-changer! I now own two pairs of those. Now, onto boots. I rec...

HOKA NEEDS TO MAKE AR 670-1 APPROVED MILITARY BOOTS
I bought these boots but ultimately had to return them as they didn't provide the high ankle support that military members have grown accustomed. I have spent 20 years in the military, in the infantry, which means that I march everywhere and can attest that Hoka has developed a cult like following a...

Definitely buy these again
I use these Hoka Kaha 3 for walking the trails around the city photographing birds and taking landscape pictures. The gortex lining keeps my feet dry which is definitely a plus in New England.
Spend it your feet will thank you
I have had my boots a couple weeks now and have logged around 30 miles trail and street. Boots are worth every penny spent to me you can't put a price on foot comfort. If you have it spend it you will be satisfied. Like walking on pillows, great support, fantastic traction and super comfortable. I was initially concerned with the price but not anymore a Hoka customer for life so impressed I bought a pair of Bondi 8.
No comparison.
I was looking to replace my HOKA KAHA 2 shoe. They apparently are not available anymore? So I ordered the HOKA KAHA 3. There is no comparison. Plus the size of the shoe is sized too small. I returned the purchased.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
Wearing shoes that don't feel like previous favorites is discouraging. We're sad that the new iteration didn't hit the spot. We recommend trying our shoe finder quiz bit.ly/HOKAShoeFinder to get suggestions for a different pair based on your needs and activities by answering a few quick questions. Let's have you send this pair back so we can get you into a style that will surpass all your expectations. The exchange process bit.ly/HOKAEXRT is simple to get started.
Too narrow; too cramped; no larger width available
This seems to be a persistent problem with this boot. Order at least a half size larger.Otherwise, build is great, especially cushioning, but didn't test waterproofing. Returning for larger size
Yosemite approved
What a fantastic shoe. Was worried with some other reviews but for me this is my favorite. I really got it for comfort, which it exceeded but also provided great grip, water out, width, and surprisingly not heavy. Did a trip out to Yosemite and Sequioa with pretty heavy snow about 3-4 ft deep and it handled like a champ. Had went with a group and most were soaked from the deep snow. To be fair it was quite deep and will say the Kaha's were damp but nothing to worry about. It was all the snow from the top of the shoe from stepping in deep snow. Overall highly recommended, although pricey you definitely get what you pay for hiking in all terrains.
HOKA NEEDS TO MAKE AR 670-1 APPROVED MILITARY BOOTS
I bought these boots but ultimately had to return them as they didn't provide the high ankle support that military members have grown accustomed. I have spent 20 years in the military, in the infantry, which means that I march everywhere and can attest that Hoka has developed a cult like following among service members of all branches. Hoka running shoes, like the Bondi, are a godsend for someone like me that has undergone 4 Achilles, 2 ankle & 3 knee repair surgeries and reconstructions. Please, if you really want to help service members, develop an Army 670-1 Compliant Boot, 8-10 inches high, in Coyote Brown. I guarantee Hoka will sell out in minutes! Lastly, it may not seem like a big deal to others, but it would really be amazing if Hoka provided half sizes about 12.5. As Hoka is aware, too tight a fit or too much space can lead to really painful injuries and us big guys deserve the ability to fine tune like others, especially for military members that rely on their feet every day. That being said, this boot is okay but the lack of high ankle support and no half size offering ultimately didn't provide the right fit I needed.
Great Boot
I'm in the construction management industry. I am on my feet 8 hours a day on job sites. These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I can wear them all day with zero foot pain. The only thing that could make them better if they had a darker brown color. I first purchased the light tan color but they were to light with no color they looked odd. I exchanged for the black, much better. Once the Grey comes back in stock I will be purchasing a second pair.
Wearing them everyday, all day long. Glad I purchased them.
I have had them on everyday since I received them, even to the gym. A little heavier than what I am used to but getting use to the extra weight. Fit good and cause no discomfort . I'm not a "Hiker" but purchased these because they are the closet thing I could find at HOKA to a "high top sneaker" and I think they're gonna fit the bill. I now have 5 pair of HOKA, the others all low top.
