Definitely an improvement!
These are much better than the previous versions. UA has finally adjusted seam locations so that these are more anatomically correct. Not sure I'll ever really use the pocket, but its a nice touch and doesn't get in the way.

The cycling bibs and shorts that I wear while riding provide the benefits of muscular compression. I decided to try compression shorts while playing pickleball and appreciate the same benefits. They were very comfortable during play and between games. I had no issues wearing them under my regular shorts.

This is a baselayer, not actually shorts. With that said, wear these under shorts and you will feel a difference in muscle activation easily on your thighs and glutes. I ended up buying more in white to go with the white UA shorts I bought.

They must have updated these because I had a few of these before and the compression wasn't as good and it also didn't have a pocket on the side of em. I don't use the pocket but overall they feel great. I use em for Muay Thai.
