Great product but really bad durability

It is my second pair of these. I bought my first pair more than five years ago and it still is in great shape. But they seem to have changed the fabric or the way it is sewed because it's been less than a year since I bought my second pair and the fabric is starting to peel off like dead skin on the... knees (see photo).

I like these leggings. Being a guy under 5ft 6in these leggings are perfect as a full length legging. Much less fabric at the waist and ankle. Nice compression without strangling your body. Very breathable fabric that keeps me cool in the heat or under clothes!! Awesome buy!!
