Poor Quality and major design flaw.
G70 worked fine for the past two years but having major problems now. Light stopped working so I took the battery holder out and noticed quite a bit of corrosion so i cleaned it up and replaced all the batteries. Two weeks later and the same problem. The interior of the flashlight is fully corroded ...

I bought this light a few years ago.Turned off at first by the two hand twist focus I pulled it out of the closet out of curiosity. I charged up a set and a half of Eneloops and am duly impressed. Twisting it is not a chore. Yes the push pull focus lights are easier to manipulate but the G70 twist easily and quickly. I had forgotten how BRIGHT the G70 is. It is a BIG light. It feels like a large hammer. It has impressive heft. I may have just ordered a push pull focus Coast but the G70 is still a winner. My G70 gets babied now along with the rest of my huge light collection. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as the light could have also been push pull. Its heft reminds me of the late great HP550.

I bought this flashlight because it was the brightest available at the home improvement store. I used it twice then it stopped working. I kept it on the car door side console. Maybe the shaking/moving of the vehicle or temperature changes caused it not to work? Really disappointing because in addition to being the brightest light available ti was also the most 'durable' and expensive.
