High on the durability scale

I had two highly recommended bladders from one of the top name manufacturers fail within a year so I thought I would try this one because of the durability rating. I have only had it for a month but it seems like it will last for a long time. I like that it can be turned inside out for cleaning. The insulated supply line is a nice bonus. I really like that it slips into my pack so much easier than the previous ones. I would buy it again.

Does everything I need it to. Material seems tough and durable. Have used it a few times with no complaints. And the best part is how easy it is to dry after use.
Brilliant with one small flaw

The reservoir itself is brilliant. Super sturdy, the easiest to clean, no ecologically and healthwise questionable antimicrobial coating and very minimal - if any - plastic-taste. My only complaint is the twist on / off locking mechanism of the bite valve. While the bite valve itself is as easy as it is brilliant, the locking mechanism is not. It is virtually impossible for me to operate it with one hand and even very hard to operate with two hands. Coming from a Camelbak Mil-Spec Antidote reservoir which has the perfect thumb-operated locking mechanism this is a disappointment. Camelbak invented the perfect on / off - switch and there is none better. Luckily I can switch the Hydrapak hose for my Camelbak hose since they all operate on the same plug-and-play connector. It is a small caveat but for me it is not a deal breaker for Hydrapak in general. This is the hydration reservoir to go.

I own the Force 3L to use it in my Osprey Kestrel 38 backpack for my climbing tour in austria. The Problem that i have is that the hose is to short and so i have the bite valve in the corner of the mouth and sometimes the hose bend... no water comes out of the valve. The hose from the Force 3L hase to be 5" to work perfectly. Did you have a solution for this issue? P.S. My wife use an Hydraulics 2.5 LT (length ci. 390 mm) and the hose there is approx. 985 mm and this works perfectly with my backpack.

This thing works great in my Klim moto backpack. Seems durable and love the fact I can hang it inside the pack so air is always opposite the hose.

I haven't been able to use it much. One thing I'd like to see is a little bit longer hose. It's about 5" too short for my particular pack.

This is a great hydration bladder, and their support system is very good also. The closure system is so much better than screw-on closures, filling, cleaning so much easier and light! two thumbs up Hydrapak!
