Compass 2.0
It was a gift . Recipient was very pleased. It will help In National Park visits.
Pretty Nice
Pretty nice compas for the price. With the glow in the dark on the needle was as bright as on the dial. Rotating dial makes folloing a course easy.
Plastic Compass +
Nice compass for a good price! It is made out of durable plastic! Designed in Sweden!
Basic, Compact, and Accurate
After using my iPhone's compass on a badly marked trail in North Carolina to figure out I was on the wrong track, I wanted an inexpensive, accurate, easy-to-read, and compact compass to help me find my way without depending on batteries. This will do it. I read a lot of reviews of this and comparable compasses and found a lot of nit-picking. I'm not a backwoodsman, but as a longtime hiker, sailor, and scuba diver, I want a compass that will always point north and has a lubber line. That's it.
Great ourchase
Have not used these yet as they are a Christmas present for my older teens that like to hike. EVERYBODY needs to know how to use a compass. My kids will get a good review of how to use-and I'll insist they take these on each and every hike no matter the length. Compasses save lives!
Useful purchase
I purchased this compass for a gift basket whose theme is camping and hiking. I thought it would be useful when hiking in areas where cell phone usage is non-existent.
Stay safe
My 96 year old Dad came from Denver where the mountains are in the west to Albuquerque where they are in the east. The compass, that works great, helps him stay on track and find his way home from his walk (independent cuss doesn't want me walking with him).
Simple and functional
This compass makes a great gift for someone who is expanding their mountain wandering. Rugged and easy to use, perfect for someone's first compass
Fun little gadget
This is a fun little gadget to take on a walk, just for kicks. My two Grands LOVE checking it out and it's a teachable moment as well. In the world of cell phones it very low tech and super nifty. Definitely recommend it for nature walks and I just love it myself.
