The Enforcer 99 173 cm is a good everyday ski. I've now skied at Snowbird in powder and spring conditions and Palisades on a power day. The 173 cm length excelled on steep runs requiring quick jump turns. It provided adequate float in powder and excelled in chopped powder and bumps. Edge hold is ok, but a longer ski would be better, and the ski is not as stable at speed as I had hoped. At 5' 8", the sales rep suggested 173 cm and I wish I had chosen 178 cm length. Perhaps I need to add the Volkl Mantra to my quiver for the days when I want to cruise.
