The perfect warmth for just about everything, Patagonia's redesigned classic Down Sweater Hoody is lightweight and windproof with a shell made of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution, and insulated with 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard down certified by Control Union. The purchase of Responsible Down Standard certified products demonstrates demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain.

We all know Patagonia's mission to protect the environment so I'll leave that out. This jacket was a replacement for a 10 year old Down Sweater and boy am I glad I opted for the hoody. This is super warm and very versatile for layering. A base layer, this jacket and a windproof shell is my go to combo for single digits in Tahoe!

I love the green color of this jacket - it is not too flashy and it is a good outdoor color. It seems warmer than the hoodless down jacket from Patagonia, and the fit is true for the size. Great for camping and daily life in the winter!
