A shoe meant for advanced runners

HOKA ONE ONE

A very aggressive track spike with minimal padding and cushioning, meant only for runners who run with pristine form. The carbon plate gives the shoe incredible stiffness and energy return, the foam does dampen some of the harshness; but don't count on it to help you avoid discomfort or injury if your strides are suspect in any way. However if you run properly with clean foot strikes; complete dorsiflexion; fully activate your quads, hamstrings, and glutes; then you will be rewarded with PRs in the 800m, 1500-1600m, and 3200m distances on the track. I would not recommend this shoe to a beginner or novice runner; at best they will not extract the full potential of the shoe at worst they could end up seriously injured. The fit is fantastic too, if you wear any other Hoka shoe in any one size this shoe will match it; no need to go up or down a size for a proper fitment.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
