Feels comfortable and cool. Haven't used it in hot weather yet but they worked fine in sunny weather with breeze. At 5'11" and 165lb, medium fits nice.

Bring back the original design with the long underarm vents that sweep towards the front! Far better vented, cooler, and dryer then this new-but-not-improved version, especially for hiking. The vent design is what made the shirt stand out and above all the other non-natural fiber shirts. Now it's just another.

These shirts are amazing. They are so soft to the touch and although my husband will wear them fishing they actually look nice enough to wear to dinner. The fit at the waist is nice for him as it's not straight and boxy but a little tailored.

I bought this in Chile at the beginning of a trip when I was backpacking abroad for a year. This shirt is light, versatile, and durable. It's great to wear when it's hot and sunny (good ventilation and sun protection), but you can also wear it when the weather is cool if you have a long sleeve thermal shirt underneath. This shirt also looks presentable, so I was able to wear it in on a few occasions when I needed to look semi-professional (embassy visits, etc.). For travel or outdoors, I recommend one of the gray colors since it's low-profile, and it also won't be immediately obvious if it gets a little dirty on a hike.
