Not yet open country tested, great on the Treadmil
I'm torn. I really wanted the Bridger 65 but not in the Orange. So I bought the 55. Now the 65 is available. But, also I have been 'training' with the 55 on the treadmill and it is great! First trip is in a few weeks and I'll know more real world use then.

Not Dana's best design
I've used Mystery Ranch packs for over 20 years. Used to sell Dana Designs in Montana. I love the new wave of designs but this pack isn't as versatile as they'd suggest. Bottom line up front: the suspension isn't as fine tuned as their dedicated backpack line. These are not much lighter either. I ha...

Most comfortable pack I own.
This pack is by far the most comfortable pack I have ever used. It has been great for long hikes and ruck running. I wish they made this in a hunting version with meat shelf. The adjustability is great and the hip belt is really secure. While running with this packed with about 35 lbs it remained secure with limited bounce. If you don't mind a bit of a heavier pack this is a great option.
Very robust.
Not the lightest pack but very durable, practical and comfortable.
A well put together pack!
I purchased the pack for multi day, backpacking trips. I bought it a few weeks ago in preparation for for hunting this year, but mostly for next summer's hiking season, I have yet to use the pack. Looking over the pack in person you can tell that a lot of thought went into the design. It is super comfortable and easy to adjust, there is pockets in all the right places, and the additional pockets on the front straps and lower band are clutch! Couldn't be happier with my purchase and look forward to using it soon.
Great pack overall
This pack is extremely well made and feature-rich. I love the vest -style harness and find it very comfortable (I'm 5'11, 155, slim athletic build). The belt is quite robust and I've carried this pack of comfortably up to about 40 lbs. My nitpicks: I wish the back mesh panel was a looser weave so things could dry out more easily. The bottom straps are about 4 inches too short. I wish one of the side pockets were larger and deeper, to allow carrying a tent more easily (Durston x-mid pro in my case). Needs a water guard zip on the brain as well. This is a heavy pack, but carries like a champ. Great for trips with lots of luxury gear like a 2-5 camping trip. This is too heavy and feature rich for extended through hikes (imo). Would love to see a slightly pared down version in Ultra 200 hitting the 3 lb mark.
Great combination of features
This pack did everything I wanted it to on a weekend outing. The organization options made the inside feel more spacious than 55L, to the point where I was concerned I was forgetting something because there was too much room left. It carried the weight well and the load always felt well distributed. The many exterior pockets were nice too. My only complaint is that the outside straps on the bottom of the pack are a bit short. They almost did not fit around my tent. Even just an extra inch would have been nice. Minor issue though.
Super Comfy
I wanted to give the Bridger a shot after some Youtube reviews. I am glad I did, it is the most comfy pack with the wait spread through all the contact points. The Yoke is really the main draw, but the pack's side accessibility is really great as well. I was so impressed that I got a 35 to replace my day pack.
Balances weight really well!
I bought this pack mainly as my Search and Rescue pack. After using it fully packed a couple of times and can say I'm truly impressed. It balances my pack weight without putting me off balance as my previous pack did. The ability to open from the front allows me to access important gear easily and quickly. Very Impressed!
Very comfortable and adjustable
This is my first backpack that I bought after having experience with hand me downs. It is very comfortable, the waist belt is padded and distributes the load well. My old pack had all the weight on my shoulders, this pack I can distribute it to my legs. Backpacking longer distances is so much more comfortable.
I have other 50-55 liter packs that weigh much less and carry a lot more. The 55 liter is fixed. Want to attach your tent to the side of your pack using compression straps? Forget about it. Most Mystery straps are huge, with lots of extra to strap on large diameter objects. Once the main body is packed, this thing can barely strap a fishing rod on. Small backpacking chair? Tent? Ground pad? Absolutely not. The triangle strap design prevents this. Bottom sleeping bag straps? Can't even strap on a foam pad. As for pack comfort, it's a noisy, creeking suspension. Fabric is nice to the touch but tension points with the new harness, by the neck, puts load lifter straps in awkward tension. I love the chest harness pockets, but not sure the design is fully baked. My old ArcLight, Glacier and Terraplane packs carry much better and are far more adaptable. Love the brand, i would just skip this one or, make sure you pack it fully and wear it at the store before you purchase it to make sure it fits your needs.
Great quality and innovation
The quality of materials, innovation, and craftsmanship of this pack are unmatched in the industry. I've had this pack for a few months and it continues to shine mile after mile. With out a doubt, 3 day out and back or long distance thru hike, this is the pack I choose every time.
