Good insulation and cap; NOT dishwasher safe
Polar explicitly states these are dishwasher safe for the top rack. I washed mine on the top rack on a short cycle WITHOUT heated dry, and the tops got warped. Insulated bottles are nice. However, these particular bottles have an unfriendly top. I found it ever so slightly more difficult pulling it from the cage (no, the cages aren't too tight) and periodically I hold the spout in my mouth while I shift or brake. These nozzles are not holding by teeth friendly

It does keep the water cool/cold, but I agree with everyone who says the color doesn't show through because the water bottle is almost white, are absolutely correct. You really can't tell what color or pattern you choose becaue how cloudy the actual plastic is. If you're looking for a bottle in a specific color/pattern, choose another brand because you'll be disappointed once you receive this brand.
