Very good!
I just bought this today for lunch. I followed the instructions. It was a little runny but very tasty. The little bit of extra water would be for me no big deal. If your hiking,bikepacking, skiing or hunting etc, hydration is a big concern. So two thumbs up. I will purchase again.

Too soupy for my taste. All the ingredients were still too hard after recommended standing time. Would probably improve as leftovers.

We bought these just for peace of mind in case something happens. They've all gone into our 72 hour kits. I know they're delicious from tasting them before and I know we'll enjoy them if we need to. Something good and comforting will go along way in an emergency. The shelf life will probably outlive us though. Too bad!

The beef stew as nearly every Mountain House meal we've eaten since the 70's is excellent dehydrated food. Love the peas in this one. Used for hiking, camping/motorcycle excursions, or just rainy days they've never failed to please from a taste, convenience, and nutrition perspective. When I've got a good hot meal 15 minutes after I spark the jetboil I'm one very happy camper.

The Beef Stew, Beef Stroganoff and Pasta Primivera are very good. Very tasty. The Chicken Noodle Casserole was horrible. It has a spice or additive permeating the entire contents and it has an awful flavor. I wouldn't recommend and would never purchase again.

This is a filling and tasty meal. It's not my favorite, but I guarantee if you were cold and hungry and this was offered to you, you would be in heaven.
