This is perfect for anyone hunting, camping or geocaching. We live in an area with a higher bear population and this is perfect for that need. The can is not the heavy so you can attach it and not have to worry about it causing pain or weighing you down. I haven't had the chance to use the actual mace part of it but have doubt that it would help in that situation.

This is a convenient way to stay safe when in the wilderness. This holster comes with a convenient bag and the there is even a glow in the dark safety wedge to make sure it isn't accidentally sprayed. It sprays up to 32 feet and the entire can is sprayed in only 7 seconds. It is a fire extinguisher type spray and was developed by a bear encounter survivor. I would definitely recommend this!

I recently got the Counter Assault bear spray. I went on vacation in Tennessee and was planning on doing some hiking. The carrying case is very convenient and makes it a lot easier to be ready in case of a Bear attack. Luckily my group didn't see any bears on our hike, but I felt much more comfortable and safer knowing I was prepared just in case. I recommend this for any one who may live or be visiting any area where they may encounter bears.

Thankfully I have not had to use this bear deterrent yet. If I have to it seems like it will be very effective in protecting someone. The canister looks like it will be easy to use as quickly as I need to and that gives me ease of mind living around woods.

I am very satisfied with this bear spray. It is a big can but not too heavy. It is easy to hold to spray. The carrying case is a great addition to keep it on my side when I need it and within reach so that i don't have to go digging through my bag.

Bear canister with holster is one of the smartest purchases that I have gotten. I got this cuz my son rides his bike to and from work. We live in a wooded area that does have wild life. Thankfully when he came across a bear he had this which have him time to get away safely. Holster is convenient and makes carrying easy. He attaches his to his back pack. The safety clip is smart so that it's not accidentally sprayed. Spray is far enough to disorient a bear. Glad I got this when I did.

I got this to use to go camping and was so glad I did. It worked great. I didn't have to get close to the bear and the bear instantly turned and left. We had no effects from spray back or anything.

I got this for my husband who is a long distance runner to have on hand while we are camping. He likes to get up before the sun and run the trails for 2+ hours at a time which makes me an anxious mess. Thankfully he didn't encounter any bears or other dangerous critters but knowing he had this on him gave me peace of mind. The holster was handy & held the can in place adequately even with him running. It wasn't too bulky or cumbersome and didn't impact his run at all. I hope he never has to use this but I'm thankful he has it just in case.

This product is great for hikers and campers of all walks of life. I myself camp and hike where we live in upper NY. We live right on the Appalachian trail so bears are always around! This product was super easy to strap to my backpack and also be in close reach just in case. The product itself is a bit large but I'd rather have more then not enough product to protect myself and family. Must have for any outdoors enthusiast.
