When I order this, I didn't know exactly what I needed so I called Thule and the person who answered was extremely helpful and very nice. I was also surprised to find out that what I needed was about 10% cheaper here than everywhere else. Everything arrived quickly. Instructions were good and installation was easy. We've been carrying out kayaks around ever since.

These are part of my bike roof rack. These are just awesome!!! They are easy to use, handle well, and well made! The fact thst these are made in Sweden makes it even better because I am part Swedish! The only bad part is that these are very expensive.

Every product shot shows locks (including those you see during the checkout process). It's misleading. I understand new photography is expensive and a huge hassle, but if you just added locks to a "related items" or "customers also bought" section at the bottom of the page, it would be more clear. Plus, it's not particularly easy to find the locks on the website so it would be doubly helpful. That said, things seem solid, it was easy to install, and it's easy to use.

I am a long-time Thule user. I have a new 2015 Acura RDX, and I need the 1724 fit kit! The 480 foot pack is perfect (with most Thule products), but need the fit kit!

Took about a month to receive all of my parts and nowhere did it mention that I needed more parts, I thought it was more a a universal system, they don't make the pads for my make and model. Now I have to return everything - waste of an entire month.

Got the Thule system for my Hyundai Ioniq to carry my Kayaks. The parts came quickly and the whole system was easy to put together. I watched a quick 10 min youtube video and it really helped. The Thule website could be a little bit better but the product is top notch.

I'll be honest, at first I tried out the "other" brand of roof racks out first on my Toyota Corolla. I never could get it to fit just right and even when I did get it mounted, I didn't feel too confident with how the system worked. Now enter Thule: I cannot stress how night and day different the Thule Traverse Foot Pack is as compared to the competitor's offering. I am so thrilled with how perfect it fits my car and how simple it is to install! Literally this base rack is in a class of it's own... Thule definitely is the best. Note to Thule: Your directions are absolutely terrible... that is the only suggestion for improvement I have!

This foot pack is excellent. Very simple to install to the load bar and fit kit. The instructions for my vehicle were not accurate in regards to the crossbar width spacing. When set to the numbers specified for my vehicle with the fit notes, the feet extended more than 6 inches beyond the width of my vehicle. I had to use trial and error to evenly place the feet. That was not difficult and as a result did not really impact my rating. The fit notes should be more accurate. The Rapid Traverse provides a secure mount. I have used it in combination with Thule's bike and boat carriers with relative ease. Compared to many factory rack crossbars, which can be flimsy, Thule's Aeroblade in combination with this foot pack provides a solid crossbar. The integrated torque keys are useful. Avoid having to buy a fairing (if considering Thule's Square bar) and buy an Aeroblade base rack. You won't be disappointed. Overall the noise and mileage impact of installing this foot pack and aeroblades has been minimal. Highly recommended.

The instructions were terrible for aeroblade. Distance between the footings on my Audi A3 were way off so it took me 3 hours to install. I had to modify the instructions to get the perfect fit. The easy slide bar measurement on the bottom of the aeroblade needs to be revised.
