Color and Fit
I love the colors of this shoe to start with and was very pleased that they fit my foot. The toe box is wide enough that my toes aren't squished, and the arch support is in the right place on my foot and is actually a true arch support.

Popped these right out of the box and hiked 20 miles in Acadia National Park. Took no breaking in, super comfortable, cushiony, great traction on roots and rocks. 20 weeks pregnant and these babies took good care of me. Recommend! I wear a size 8.5/9 and ordered a 9 and they fit great.

I previously bought my first pair of Hokas on clearance at Nordstroms. I was delighted how they made my feet feel and the appearance. I decided to invest in a second pair d/t I had worn out my first (approx. 8mos). I ordered directly from Hoka website. I received shoes ordered, they were bulky and appeared to be very long (double my shoe size). There was not a lot of choices in regard to style/color. I want to send them back, but too much of a hassle. My next pair, if purchased will never be online, it will be in person d/t there is a big difference in what you see vs what you get.

My first time using the speed goats. Bought them to hike the Camino de Santiago. Great shoe that is comfortable with lots of room. Just wish there was a smidge more cushion but overall I like them.

This is my 3rd pair of Hoka in 2 months and ended up disappointed. I have had these less than a month, wear them maybe 3 times a week and the insoles have come loose. I adjusted them both 5 minutes into my treadmill session and they slid back again. So uncomfortable and a big fail. For the price and brand I expected better quality. My other 2 have not had an issue, yet.

My attachment to HOKAS began with Clifton - while living in Florida. I purchased several Cliftons but after moving to Colorado I found that Speedgoats better handled pebbles,rocks and icy sidewalks. While I no longer run I enjoy long walks and hiking on trails. I typically use boots for steep trails but these would work. They have ample cushion and traction and hold up longer than Clifton's. Speedgoats also fit narrow heels better than the newer Transport. I do wish these came in more earthy neutral colors. I wear them with inserts and they are supportive and stable.
