Uncomfortable Design.
I've been wearing Hoka's for a couple of years now to address foot pain and wanted to try their trail version. Unfortunately, these are not as comfortable as Cliftons and to me, have a design flaw. Specially, in the toe box, there is fabric that is wrapped in some areas with support outside. (You...

Not like my other Hoka's
Maybe it's the style… but not as comfortable as my other Hoka's
Not as comfortable as previous Speedgoats I have purchased
As an avid hiker, I have purchased multiple pairs of Speedgoats both regular and mid-goretex for the trail. I bought a pair of the Anacapa Breeze as everyday summer shoes, dog-walking, etc. I was very disappointed with the fit. I find that the banding that gives the shoe form is restrictive and provides unnecessary pressure points on the side of my feet which becomes uncomfortable after short periods of wearing. Will stick to the Speedgoats going forward. The shoe is made well and has Hoka durability, nfotunately it just does not fit the same as their other shoes fit me.

quality slipping
I have and loved seven pairs of hooks. purchased another pair, left shoe squeaked with every step. exchanged for another pair, same thing, left shoe squeaked. tried to exchange for a different style, never received third pair, got a refund instead. guess they don't want my business!

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
Although we never mean to cause frustration, we're sad to hear this has been your experience. When your exchange arrived at our warehouse and we began processing your request, this style was out of stock. Sadly, this means we could not fulfill your exchange and had to process a refund to your original payment method. We hope this answers your questions and resolves some concerns. As always, if you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to the number listed here: bit.ly/HOKAHelps.
squeaky shoe
2 pairs , left shoe started to squeak with every step, first issue ever with a HOKA shoe
Best hiking shoe!
I love the colors. The materials are high quality, these should last a while. I wear these everyday for work and hiking especially. I have the recovery sliders I like kicking around in at home and around the pool and stuff. Honestly these are my favorite shoes from Hoka yet.
love the shoes
very sensitive feet shoes are to soft for me customer Service its excellent
Comfortable and durable
Started my Hoka experience with Clifton 9s, which are about the most comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn (and I have worn many over several decades). However, the Clifton soles wore through pretty quickly so I purchased the Anacapa hiking shoes for durability AND comfort. While not as cushy as the Cliftons, the Anacapas are quite comfortable and offer the vaunted Vibram soles for expected durability. Great combination so far. May take these to Africa in the autumn.
Fits perfect!
Got these for an upcoming trip to Durango, CO this summer. Fits Perfect and so comfy!
Very breathable and great stability
Going to Northern Spain for vacation. Need something that will work well for lots of walking with and without weight on my back. These seem like they will fit the bill perfectly. Breaking them in now and they feel great. They do seem to be a little longer that my other Hokas (Bondi 8.5) with more room in front of the toe but not overly so or anything problematic.
