These are my son's favorite shorts! They are almost like a swim suit material rather than mesh, which he prefers. He's 9 and typically a medium but we sized up go a large because they don't have much give and the medium rides up when he's playing sports. He has to roll the waist once on the large but otherwise they fit well.

The short is very comfortable, my son loves it! We but under armour stuff a lot, because he loves it, these shorts are a must have for sports as well, light weight and breathable, I would recommend.
