Do not trust the quality
All 4 pairs of socks I received had fraying, and 1 had a hole in them upon arrival. Did not receive adequate customer service regarding the issue. Will not be giving Smartwool any more business, disappointed.

I was excited for these socks but they have what appears to be some kind of dried glue melted into the fabric on the bottom of the sock. It's a raised glob directly in the middle of the ball of my foot, so there's no way these are wearable. Very disappointing. The other two pairs I ordered are great.

They are a nice heavy weight sock perfect for cold days or outdoor wear. I like the color and design and the fit is perfect. I wear a women's size 10 and purchased a large. They are a nice length coming just below my knee. I tend to be cold and these are perfect!
