Description
Seventy percent of people sleep on their side, yet mummy bags are not designed to accommodate this. Forte has been updated with Primaloft’s, lightweight, ultra-lofty and supremely resilient RISE insulation featuring 80% post-consumer recycled content. Forte’s classic Spoon shape provides a generous cut at the elbows and knees so side sleepers can shift positions comfortably throughout the night.
These 3-season backpacking bags are loaded with features, including Thermo Gills that help regulate temperature during the night, Blanket Fold™ that provides tucked-in comfort, an integrated pillow pocket, and a waterproof/breathable footbox to withstand tent condensation. Left-sided zippers on Men’s and right-sided zippers on Women’s allow Forte to zip together for a double version of these favorite synthetic sleeping bags.

LOVE this sleeping bag
I have been needing to update my 11 year old (Gander Mountain 35*) sleeping bag that I have used FOREVER, and wanted a bit of a colder weather bag. I've heard great things about Nemo products, so I looked into them for a new bag. The Forte 20* bag is everything. The feel of the material is excellent...

Quality Drop
I had the last modle in the series, The Vilo, and it was just better. The fabric was softer and cosier. There was still plenty of room but not excessive. There was elastic on both sides of the hood so you could get really cosy. Id has to say Nemo's quality has dropped significantly on this bag. Prob...

Fabulous bag for side sleepers.
I was so excited when I read the reviews and description of this sleeping bag. I am a side sleeper and have found my other mummy bags restricting and hard to sleep on my side. I was so comfortable and impressed with this bag. It kept me extra warm. I liked having a stuff bag to pack the sleeping bag into as well as a storage bag when left at home. I'd highly recommend this sleeping bag!
Cozy but zipper issues
I have the same complaint as some others about having gendered zippers. It doesn't make sense when other companies offer the choice of zipper on the left or right, especially if you're emphasizing that your bags can be zipped together. You're alienating your queer customer base. I've seen those comments from years ago that you're "doing something about it". Do better, Nemo. Not to mention that once I did actually zip my Forte up with another Forte (men's endless promise), my zipper was several inches longer despite both being the long size. And after my first trip, the material in the heat vents has caught in the zipper, rendering it useless. Great idea (we did use them) but poor execution.

Official Response by Nemo - BV
Thank you so much for your feedback! The significant difference between men's and women's bags are the temperature ratings — women's bags are rated to an EN Comfort standard, which sleep a little warmer. However, you are correct that the temperature ratings, sizes and zippers do not need to be gender-based, and while this has been the standard naming convention within the industry in the past, it is definitely something we are looking at changing. We'll reach out to you directly regarding the zipper on the Thermo Gill™ vents getting caught. That is certainly something that we can help with.
Great upgrade from my previous bag.
I was looking for a sleeping bag that would keep me warm in upper 30/lower 40 degree weather, wasn't as constricting as a mummy bag, and had a zipper that wouldn't get stuck when I was trying to get out of it. The Nemo Forte definitely checked all of those boxes. I used it on my last camping trip and had the best night of sleep I've ever had camping. The separate storage mesh and compression bags are also nice to have. I had some trouble stuffing into the compression bag but my husband had no trouble at all. I definitely recommend this bag and the male Forte bag.
Women's Forte
Absolutely love the women's Forte spoon bag after years of struggling to sleep in a mummy bag. The only downfall, and one that continues to bother me, is the right-side only zipper. Please make a left zip option! I want a women's specific bag, but I sleep on my left and it is awkward with that right zip and is the only thing that keeps this bag from being the best ever.
Love this bag
Comfortable, warm, just the right size for me. The color is great too.
Sleep tight
I'm 5'4"" and just seemed alittle short but loved color and comfort. Even though was too hot for my last trip, the higher temp one was unavailable:(
Too bulky for backpacking
It's very nice, but we ended up returning it. Too bulky for backpacking. Would not fit into the internal frame backpack. Decided to go with a down bag instead.
Warm on cool nights!
I bought these for my duaghter (ages 8 & 6). They worked great this past weekend while camping along Lake Superior here in MN. Overnight temps were in the high 30's. We also use a bag liner. Both girls claimed to have stayed warm throughout the chilly nights!
