A pair of socks changed my lif
I can't even hike without these; the chiggers around my place are awful. I've seen other reviews saying it "doesn't work". They aren't 100% impervious, but I had 50+ chigger bites on prior hikes (on each ankle!), and only 1-5 when wearing these. I bought one for each person in my family.

These may work great, but they are heavy wool Sox. Not appropriate for hot summer bug filled days or nights. If it's this cold, bugs aren't a problem.

These are perhaps a bit tight, but they do the trick for hiking and camping. The bug repellent feature seems to work very well - I always wear these when I know I'll be in the woods or anywhere else where ticks are!

Something in the elastic and the repellent caused welts on my calves. Rolling the socks offered some relief so I still had socks on the trip.
