I won't wear anything else.
I have a defective left foot due to a ruptured tendon, PTTD, no tendon to hold up my arch. I wear a hard boot inside my shoe to give me relief from pain and allows me to walk. Before I found HOKA my shoes where ugly. I would have to buy 2 sizes bigger and super extra wide. Only one foot is challenge...

They have potential
I was so excited to finally get a pair of breathable non-Gore-Tex hiking shoes (and boots) with good cushion from HOKA. I ordered these and the mid high boots the same day they were released. My first impression looking at them was that they were very cute, but the mesh around the toes on one shoe w...

Another super comfy shoe
Hoka is my favorite brand - nothing is more comfortablr
Comfortable
My first pair of Hoka's and the most comfortable pair.of shoes I've ever owned. Use for hiking and walking dogs about 3 miles daily.
LOVE them!
I'm becoming more & more a HOKA only gurl! Absolutely LUV all my HOKAS so far.
A couple of issues
I loved these shoes when I received them. I was excited. But they were too small. I wear a 9 in the Clifton 9's. But my toes smashed up to the edge and my no show socks scrunched down under my heel as I walked just around my yard. I really need a pair of hiking shoes like these and I can't find them in stores because I really need to try before I buy. Returning these.
Lightweight, nice cushioning, sturdy.
I wanted to like these, but the shape of the toe box cuts over as if I don't have a big toe! I sized up and it still cut into my big toe. I wear HOKA BONDI's without this problem. The Anacapa Breeze Mid just seems to have a strang toe box shape and so I have had to return it.
These are really awesome shoes - love the colors
Unfortunately I couldn't keep them as I need a wide shoe and they were out so I thought I would try a regular size but no luck. They are awesome shoes though
I would buy again
The color is not as dark as I thought it would be I still like the shoe it is very comfortable
Runs narrow
The Vibram sole has good traction for hiking, if not for that I would return them. This shoe runs narrow and small compared to Bondi 7 and Stinson 6 (I am a perfect 5.5 in both and never had any issues with multiple pairs of either style). I bought a 5.5 and exchanged them for a 6, and the fit is better but not great.
Was great at first
The shoes fit great upon arrival. It felt like I was walking on sunshine. After a few days, I wore them on my regular 3 mile walk. The lower part of my right arch near the heel began to feel irritated. I wore them again the next day for the same walk, wanting to see if it was a fluke. This time the same irritation came, along with the beginnings of a large blister. It felt like the padding was rubbing. The only thing different was that I wore thin socks on the first few days and regular socks for the walks. I ended up returning the shoes and I am working through my disappointment. I was really looking forward to these shoes.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
We were looking forward to this pair seeing you through your miles as well, but we know how important a comfortable fit is. Usually, blisters point towards an ill-fitted pair. We recommend peeking at our sizing chart: bit.ly/HOKASizeChart to ensure you're in the best heel-to-toe for a friction-free experience, that you can wear your pair with thick or thin socks.
