Easily meets the rating, just wear fleece!
I took my 11 year old snow backpacking up into the San Jacinto Wilderness. He was toasting warm in the bag. He wore 200gm/sqm weight fleece pants and top, polypro sock and acrylic beanie. He stayed toasty warm all night. We used an anolog miniature fridge thermometer to get accurate temps during...

Light sleeping bag with unrealistic temp rating
I have had this sleeping bag for almost 2 years now. I have taken it on many backpacking trips in the Cascades and mount rainier national park. The bag is light; however, after using it in temps as low as 25 degrees and commonly around 40, I have been very cold. You will need a liner if you want to ...

Horrible
The bag for the sleeping bag is super small me and my friends tried to get it in bag
Buyer beware
Zipper went out in less than 6 months, and they make it hard to review
Not a winter bag
The comfort level would be mid 40s and 50s. I tried camping in the 20s and I was absolutely freezing, I had to wear full outdoor gear to bed. I plan on buying another bag for winter, but this perfect for fall and spring. The overall quality of the bag is really nice and comfortable.
Great bag for the price and lightweight
I just did a winter overnight backpacking excursion and it kept me plenty warm. I especially like the hood on the bag for extra warmth. Would buy again!
Excellent all-around bag for temps above freezing
I have spent almost a dozen nights in my 20-degree Trestles and I think it's great, especially when nights are in the 55 to 35-degree range. I have used it backpacking, rafting and car camping. There is plenty of hip and torso room, the zipper system is great, it's plenty roomy for me: I'm 5-10 & 165. It becomes a warm mummy and I'm confident with long underwear and a hat it's warm below freezing. The bag stuffs very small for a synthetic bag but retains loft well. I have one fancier $$ down bag that is better, but the Trestles is the best value. It blows away all my synthetic North Face bags from the 90s & 00s.
BEST BAG EVER!
I have used this a lot, and I am a cold sleeper! Even in Florida, I use this bag, and I TRUST it to keep me warm. I hate being chilled in the night!
Marmot Eco Elite Trestles 20 - Men's Regular
This bag is going strong for two years now with more than a dozen camping and backpacking trips under its belt. Not too shabby!

Just the right fit
I bought this bag for backpacking in multiple climates. I don't to a lot of backpacking, but the bag has been perfect. I love the zippers on both sides. It's warm enough for cool nights and is a great added sleep pad for those extremely hot summers down south.
great bag for river trips
I am a commercial outfitter and needed a good weather resistant bag for moderate conditions for a series of river trips I was doing through out the south west and Central America. I have 120 days of sleeping in this bag on a paco pad since I purchased it 1.5 years ago. No rips or tears so far indicting a very durable and well built sleeping bag for my heavy use. I am 5'10 but got the long bag which gives me plenty of room.
